In my position I did a lot more of the photojournalism and newswriting side of the job, but you would also be trained on command messaging, interacting with and escorting civilian media. For someone with your background, I think you'd find yourself doing a lot of the same things as a 46Q. I joined in 2010 as a 46Q, and did that job for about five years. ![]() I have two of those MOS' for what it's worth. ![]() Right now 42A is my most likely option starting out, but I just want to be able to do another job in my time in the Guard.
